81st Box Car Days!

Keeping the tradition alive! Tracy started as a railroad town and “Box Car Days” has been a major event in Tracy since 1927! It is more than just an ordinary summer celebration – it is a Labor Day weekend event! This year we are celebrating the 81st Box Car Days and it will be filled with activities!

 Highlights include:
Friday, August 29 ~ Burger Night, “Box Car Idol” Finals
Saturday, August 30 ~ Minnesota X-treme Bucking Bull Tour, Minnesota State Plowing Contest
Sunday, August 31 ~ Miss Tracy Scholarship Program, Minnesota State Plowing Contest
Monday, September 1 ~ Fly-In Breakfast, 5K-10K Road Race, Grand Parade

 


Throughout the weekend:
Beer Garden (where people have the chance to reminisce, find old friends and classmates and celebrate the weekend)
Bingo Stand
Softball Tournament
